Bop Pops is a pseaudonym adopted by the four piece version of a larger band called Buncha Cool Cats. This group has one of the tightest, most experienced and skilled rhythmn sections in Orlando. They opened for the jazz recording artists Spyro Gyra at Universal Studio's CityJazz club. With the addition of female vocalist Rowena Baker they also opened for recording artist Peabo Bryson. The leader, saxophonist, Elliot Dyson played in the televised Nancy Carrigan special with Bryan McKniight's performance.
They have great sound equipment for up to 300 guests. They do make limited announcements. If you want fancy, a professional Emcee can be added.They provide a wireless handheld mike for use by the reception's speakers, such as the best man's toast, the host's welcome to guests.
They are very good about learning a song that is desired for a special dance.
They serve as the premier jazz quartet with vocals or as your small dance band. They can do either or both at your pleasure.
